Job Description

• Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute physical design implementation at block, subsystem, sub-chip, and full-chip/SoC levels
  • Perform floorplanning, synthesis, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, and physical optimization
  • Ensure timing closure through static timing analysis and signoff methodologies
  • Handle physical verification including DRC, LVS, formal equivalency, and signoff checks
  • Optimize power efficiency and address IR drop and electromigration challenges
  • Drive successful tapeouts of complex ASICs in advanced technology nodes
  • Develop and improve physical design flows, methodologies, and automation frameworks
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies, IPs, and EDA vendors to improve design quality and efficiency
  • Lead and mentor physical design teams to meet planned milestones and quality goals
  • Collaborate with architecture, RTL, verification, and manufacturing teams to ensure design success
  • Provide clear status updates on progress, risks, and issues to management
  • Work independently with limited direction while maintaining strong attention to detail
