• Job Description:

  As a Quality Engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team enabling full-stack quality assurance across the application lifecycle. Your focus will be on functional and embedded system-level testing, helping to ensure robust, high-quality delivery of products. You?ll contribute to test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and continuous improvement of QA processes.

  Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform functional, system-level, and regression testing for embedded devices

  • Analyze product requirements and create detailed test cases and test plans

  • Execute manual tests and document defects clearly and thoroughly

  • Collaborate with development and hardware teams to replicate, isolate, and debug issues

  • Maintain detailed test logs, reports, and documentation for compliance and traceability

  • Participate in requirement reviews and contribute feedback from a QA perspective

  • Support ongoing quality improvements across the test lifecycle

  Professional & Technical Skills:

  Must-Have Skills:

  • Experience in Embedded Applications Testing

  • Strong understanding of embedded systems, and hardware-software integration

  • Ability to design and execute test cases based on functional specifications

  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)

  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent documentation and communication abilities

  Good-to-Have / Additional Skills:

  • Exposure to smartphone testing or similar consumer electronics domains

  • Experience with Test Management Tools like TestRail, Zephyr

  • Familiarity with Android and/or Linux-based systems

  • Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python, Shell scripting) for automation or log parsing

  • Understanding of test planning, traceability, and QA compliance practices
