  • The IBM Storage Software Engineering team is looking for Software Engineer to join us in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will work on user interface design and development for Openshift Data Foundation. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of software developers, product designers, quality assurance engineers, and the open source community. You?ll add and enhance features, automate testing of features, and create example code and documentation.
  Required Technical And Professional Expertise
  • 3-5 years of experience in front-end development.
  • Strong proficiency in React.js and ecosystem tools.
  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Proficiency in modern CSS frameworks like SCSS.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of performance optimization techniques (lazy loading, caching, etc.).
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Cypress, or React Testing Library.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus) and logging frameworks.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a collaborative team environment.
  Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
  • Knowledge of Opensource development, and working experience in Opensource projects.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their storage services.
  • Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
