IBM is looking for a Technical Support Professional to join its Software Support Organization. This role involves providing high-quality support for IBM software products, helping customers resolve technical issues, and collaborating with internal teams to improve products and support processes. It?s a dynamic role suitable for individuals who are customer-focused, technically skilled, and eager to continuously learn and grow in a global 24x7 environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Handle customer support cases effectively and in a timely manner as part of a global 24x7 support team.

Work with Engineering and Operations teams to resolve escalated technical issues.

Educate and empower customers by helping them understand and use the product effectively.

Create and maintain knowledge base articles and other support documentation.

Develop strong relationships with customers and ensure high satisfaction.

Provide technical engineering support including:

Diagnostics and troubleshooting
-
Performance optimization
-
Incident analysis
-
Solution partner recommendations
-
Product knowledge transfer

Required Skills (Technical & Professional)

Bachelor?s Degree (Master?s preferred).

3+ years in a technical support or development role.

Experience with:
-
IBM Maximo Asset Management or Maximo Application Suite

Cloud technologies (e.g., Red Hat OpenShift, Azure, Kubernetes)

Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English).

Strong customer care orientation and a self-motivated, goal-driven approach.

Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience in shell scripting and programming languages like Java or C++.

Exposure to mobile technologies and platforms.

Proficiency with Windows/Linux operating systems.

Experience with databases such as MongoDB, DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server.

Familiarity with application development projects and administration of application servers (e.g., WebSphere, WebLogic).
