Job Description

• Job Description:

  Prepare test cases and perform testing of products/platforms/solutions to be deployed at client end, ensuring 100% quality assurance parameters are met.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Test Planning & Design:

  • Understand test requirements and test case design of the product
  • Author test planning with knowledge on business requirements and testable requirements
  • Implement Model-based testing using Wipro's methodology for efficient test generation
  • Ensure test cases are peer reviewed to achieve less rework
  • Work with development team to identify and capture test cases
  • Set criteria, parameters, scope/out-scope of testing and involve in UAT

  Test Execution & Automation:

  • Automate test life cycle process through VB macros, scheduling, GUI automation
  • Design and execute automation framework and reporting
  • Develop and automate tests for software validation
  • Set up test environments, design test plans, develop test cases/scenarios
  • Execute test cases and ensure proper test coverage

  Defect Management & Reporting:

  • Ensure test defects are raised as per project norms with clear description and replication patterns
  • Detect bug issues and prepare defect reports
  • Report test progress and maintain test status dashboard
  • Design and release test status dashboard at end of every test cycle
  • Provide feedback on usability and serviceability to stakeholders

  Client Management:

  • Ensure quality interaction with customers via email, fault tracking, voice calls
  • Provide timely responses to customer requests
  • Deliver on-time WSRs, test execution reports and dashboard updates
  • Update accurate efforts in project tracking tools
