    To prepare test cases and perform testing of the product/platform/solution for deployment at the client end, ensuring 100% adherence to quality assurance parameters.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Test Planning & Design

    • Understand test requirements and design effective test cases based on business and testable requirements.

    • Prepare detailed test plans with clear objectives, scope, and parameters.

    • Apply Wipro?s Model-Based Testing methodology for efficient test generation.

    • Ensure peer reviews of test cases to minimize rework.

    Test Execution & Automation:

    • Collaborate with the development team to capture test cases and maintain proper version control.

    • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and define in-scope and out-of-scope areas.

    • Automate appropriate stages of the test lifecycle using VB Macros, scheduling tools, GUI automation, etc.

    • Design and execute automation frameworks with relevant reporting capabilities.

    • Set up test environments, design test plans, create test cases/scenarios, and execute them.

    Defect Management & Quality Control:

    • Raise defects as per defined norms with detailed descriptions and replication steps.

    • Track and report test progress, ensuring compliance with Wipro/Customer SLAs.

    • Detect and document bugs, prepare defect reports, and monitor resolutions.

    • Maintain zero rejection/slippage rates for delivered work items.

    Reporting & Documentation:

    • Create and release Test Status Dashboards at the end of each cycle execution.

    • Provide feedback on usability, serviceability, and quality risks.

    • Submit timely and accurate reports such as WSRs, test execution reports, and dashboard updates in the test management repository.

    • Record accurate efforts in eCube, TMS, and other project trackers.

    Customer Interaction & Support:

    • Maintain high-quality communication with customers (emails, fault reports, calls).

    • Respond promptly to customer requests and ensure zero complaints.

    • Track and manage issue resolution, ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
