Job Description

• Job description:
  • Design and develop scalable, responsive web applications using Oracle APEX and PL/SQL .
  • Enhance existing APEX applications by adding new features, improving UI/UX, and optimizing performance.
  • Refactor and modernize legacy APEX code to align with current standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure and DevOps teams to automate internal tooling and dashboards.
  • Integrate APEX with backend systems using RESTful Web Services , and OAuth2 .
  • Utilize tools like Postman to test APIs and validate integrations.
  • Write clean, maintainable SQL , PL/SQL , and frontend code ( JavaScript , HTML , CSS ).
  • Conduct impact analysis and implement improvements based on user feedback and usage analytics.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across the full stack (APEX Database Cloud).
  • Participate in code reviews and design discussions, with a focus on maintainability, security, and performance.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to deliver rapid prototypes and iterate on enhancements.
  • Interest or experience in adding AI features (like Oracle AI Services, chatbots, predictive analytics) to APEX apps is a plus.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle APEX development, including application enhancement and refactoring.
  2. bachelors degree ( BE/BTech ) in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience.
  3. Comfortable working within Agile frameworks and environments, with a focus on iterative development and continuous improvement.
  4. Strong understanding of performance tuning and usability optimization techniques in APEX.
  5. Experience working with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and deliver incremental improvements.
