We are looking for an Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Selenium to join our dynamic delivery team. As part of the Infosys technology group, you will play a critical role in the design, development, validation, and support of automated testing solutions that help ensure robust application quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
A day in the life of an Infoscion:

Work as part of the Infosys delivery team to ensure high-quality design, development, and validation of software applications.

Gather and analyze system requirements to understand client needs and convert them into functional test cases.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.

Estimate work efforts and provide detailed feedback to Technology Leads and Project Managers.

Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, and log defects, ensuring efficient defect tracking and resolution.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate closely with developers and business analysts.

Continuously update test suites to reflect new functionalities and system updates.

Support test planning, execution, defect triage, and reporting activities.
Additional Responsibilities

Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and TestNG/JUnit frameworks

Understanding of design principles and architectural best practices.

Knowledge of performance engineering and test optimization techniques.

Ability to translate functional and non-functional requirements into test specifications.

Good experience in SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Proficient in writing test cases, test plans, and test scripts.

Familiarity with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, ALM).

Awareness of latest testing tools, trends, and techniques.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Technical and Professional Requirements

Primary Skill: Technology → Automated Testing → Selenium

Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, and Maven/Gradle.

Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Docker (optional but preferred).

Basic knowledge of Java/Python scripting for test automation.

Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for UI validation.
