• Job Description:
  • We are seeking experienced Software Engineers (Tech Lead level) to support the development of advanced LLM evaluation and training datasets for realistic software engineering challenges.
  •  This role requires strong expertise in open-source repositories, hands-on coding skills, and the ability to collaborate with researchers to enhance AI-assisted software development.
  Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and triage GitHub issues across trending open-source projects.
  • Set up and configure repositories, including Dockerization and development environment setup.
  • Evaluate unit test coverage and ensure overall software quality.
  • Modify, run, and test large-scale codebases locally.
  • Collaborate with researchers to design challenging evaluation tasks for LLMs.
  • Contribute to building verifiable SWE tasks from public repository histories.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  Expected Skills:
  1. Strong expertise in at least one of the following: Python, JavaScript, Java, Go, Rust, C/C++, C#, or Ruby.
  2. Experience working with well-maintained, widely-used repositories (500+ GitHub stars).
  3. Proficiency with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipeline setup.
  4. Ability to understand and navigate complex software systems.
  5. Hands-on experience running, modifying, and testing real-world projects.
  6. Prior contributions to or evaluation of open-source projects (preferred).
  7. Strong analytical skills and ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
