Job Description

• Roles & Responsibilities:

  As a Performance Test Engineer at Infosys, you will be a key contributor in the consulting team, responsible for:

  • Conducting performance, load, and stress testing of applications using LoadRunner and JMeter.

  • Identifying bottlenecks and performance issues, analyzing root causes, and recommending performance improvements.

  • Collaborating with development and QA teams to design, execute, and optimize test strategies for scalable applications.

  • Participating in various phases of the SDLC, including requirement analysis, solution design, implementation, and deployment.

  • Building proofs of concept (POCs) and conducting research to evaluate tools and methodologies.

  • Creating detailed functional and technical documentation aligned with business and system requirements.

  • Supporting the configuration and tuning of test environments and test data setup.

  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to unit-level and organizational innovation.
