Job Description
- Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develops Test Approach, Test Plan, Test Schedule, Test Scenarios, and Test Cases based on requirements.
- Test case writing, test execution, defect logging, working with Development and BAs etc.
- Responsible for setting up and maintain test data.
- Execute Test Cases and capture Test Results in Test Management Tool or client-specific format.
- Provide test execution summary/update to test lead.
- Publishes test reports/status.
- Participates in test status calls and other project discussions.
- Manage the defect management process during the testing phase/effort.
- Documents issues/defects found in Defect Management Tool and follow up with Development team for the fix.
- Upon fix retest the functionality.
- Participate in root cause analysis with development.
- Highlight improvements, issues, risks.
- Coordinate resolution of issues related to activities impacting the progress of testing.
- Participates in peer reviews, testing process improvements, and other testing related activities.
